What a special Easter this was. It was our newborn Marshall's first Easter and our 2 years old Paxton's third. It was the first time that he understood that there was an Easter bunny, and if he behaved, the bunny would bring him candy. I must say as parents we really took advantage of that. For a couple of days everything was threatening that the Easter bunny wouldn't come unless he behaved. It actually worked! Now that Easter is over, all we have left is to threaten to take his candy away, which also works pretty good!
It was so fun having Paxton actually understanding what was going on, and we got to watch him search for his hidden Easter basket. He found it right away, I guess he has a nose for candy! It really felt like our first time introducing Paxton to this tradition, and hopefully in many more years, he will have the joy of passing the tradition onto his children. It was really a fun and special day, and here are the pictures to prove it. I threw in a little bonus video of Paxton searching for his Easter basket.
I hope you all enjoyed your Easter as much as we did!
